Reaction to Peer Review

The peer review process was a very beneficial process. One of my greatest weaknesses as a writer is not having the ability to put my points into an essay without them being up and disorganized. Having others analyze my essay and give me feedback on which areas I need to touch up shows me to clean up my essay and make it more concise. By receiving feedback on my points it helps reassure me that my argument is sound and knowing which points I could analyze further provides me with more content to support my thesis, such as. Seeing my peer review comments has also helped me discover new points that I would have originally over looked, making the body and claims of my essay much stronger. Being able to see my peers work had many benefits as well. Seeing the different ways my peers organized their essays gave me new ideas on how to introduce quotes and transition from paragraph to paragraph. The overall peer review process helped point out the strengths and weaknesses within my essay and gave me a sense of the skills I already have and the areas I need to work on.
