Revised Research Question

Here is the revised version of my research question:

What roles have crowdsourcing and plagiarism played in important historical events, such as wars and revolutions, and in general, what effect did they have on these events? How effective were these methods, especially when compared to similar historical events that did not use them? Were other methods of creating ideas and solving problems used in historical events more effective?
